Posted in the topic Smooth Transition: Migrating from AOL to Google Workspace in the forum Technology

Adding another robust option to the list—especially if you are dealing with a bulk migration where downtime is a concern.

I recommend checking out the SysTools IMAP to G Suite Migrator.

    As Seen on Google.

While standard IMAP tools work for simple transfers, this one handles the specific quirks of moving from legacy hosts like AOL to modern Google Workspace tenants much better. Two features make it stand out for this specific scenario:

    1. Concurrent Migration: Instead of moving one AOL account at a time, you can set the tool to migrate multiple user mailboxes simultaneously. This cuts the total project time significantly.

    2. Delta Sync: This is critical if your users are still active on AOL during the transition. You can perform an initial migration in the background, and then use the "Delta" feature to sync only the new emails that arrived during the process right before you switch them over to G Suite.

It also provides detailed failure reporting, so if a specific AOL email is corrupt (which happens with older archives), you know exactly which one it is rather than the whole batch failing. Definitely worth testing if you need a professional-grade solution.
