Solution 1. System Restore
By default, only the C drive is automatically created, but if you perform a system restore and no restore points are found, you can change the settings yourself to disable system protection. There is suspicion.
- If you have a restore point available, you can restore your operating system to a previous state by following the steps below to restore your system.
- Boot from the Windows recovery drive or the Windows installation disc to enter the recovery environment.
- Select "Troubleshooting"-> "Advanced Options"-> "System Restore".
- Select an account (you may also need to enter your password).
- Click "Next" to continue.
- Select a restore point and click "Next" to continue so that you can restore Windows to the state it was in when no blue screen error was displayed.
- Click "Finish"> "Yes" to restore Windows.
After the system restore process is complete, restart Windows. If no restore points are available, try the following solutions.

Solution 2. Initialize or reinstall Windows
If the above solution does not fix the "You have encountered a problem and you need to restart your PC" error, we recommend that you initialize / reinstall your Windows operating system.
However, performing a system initialization / reinstallation will erase the original system partition, so it is recommended that you rescue the important data stored on the system partition before running.
Since the computer cannot be started, it is necessary to use a specialized Windows data recovery tool. MiniTool Power Data Recovery can recover files in lost / formatted partition as well as accidentally deleted files. In addition, you can retrieve the data even if the computer cannot be started.
(1 ) After creating a Mini Tool Power Data Recovery bootable USB / CD / DVD on a computer that can operate normally, boot the computer in which the error occurred from the bootable USB / CD / DVD.
(2) Execute MiniTool Power Data Recovery to enter the main screen and select the system partition to restore the data.
(3) Once you have rescued your important data, you can repair the blue screen error without worrying about data loss.
Initialize Windows : Boot from the Windows installation media and click Troubleshoot> Reset this PC> Save Personal Files. Select an account, enter your password, and click Reset. (Note: For Windows 8, personal files cannot be retained.)
