On a hot summer day, I began installing polystyrene cladding on a new project. The air was thick with humidity, and I couldn’t help but wonder if it would affect the adhesive I was using. I applied the adhesive to the back of the panels as usual, but as the day wore on, the temperature soared. The panels felt a little different to handle, and I noticed some areas weren’t sticking as well as I expected. I decided to keep an eye on how it dried, but I couldn’t shake the thought that the high humidity might be influencing the process.
