  Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a mental disorder in which a person has undesirable reoccurring thoughts(obsessions) which lead to anxiety and as a result person is bound to perform repeated acts (compulsions) in such a way that it interferes with the normal life of a person.

  Real cause of OCD is not known but genetics, brain abnormalities, and environment factors are thought to play a role. Other psychiatric disorders like anxiety problems, depression, eating disorders, or substance use disorder may happen with OCD
