  This is a type of material that is designed to be used as a desiccant to keep moisture out of the air. 5a molecular sieve are not commonly used as a desiccant, but they are able to adsorb more water than any other type of desiccant. This type of desiccant can be used to keep the air in the refrigerator or freezer dry, as well as to keep dust out of homes.
