  How you may handle depression after being drunk?. You don’t remember what you did but you know for sure that you did something stupid ‘cause it always happens in that way when you’re wasted.

  How can I stand up again and continue with a normal life with shame?. I know I have a good job and a big opportunity ahead to improve it even more, but when I got tipsy, I can’t just stop and, I hate myself for not be able to control it.

  I had a perception of automation in the home that you’d need either an Alexa or something running Siri (HomeKit) with electronic switches like wall switches to control lights with your voice, set up so they auto come on when you walk into a room, or remotely control, them.
  
  We are visiting our son, who has an Alexa unit and smart light bulbs, he talks to Alexa, so a wifi switch does not have to be installed. So I’m asking Apple or Alexa?
  
  This stands out:
  While Apple's HomeKit grapples with compatibility with a few hundred brands, the Alexa ecosystem is compatible with as many as 100,000 smart home devices according to data from Statista.
  
  I have both a Roku and Apple TV so I don’t consider myself an Apple prisoner, and although I prefer IPhone and iOS to Android, I am willing to go with what is the better, and more economical setup, although since I am particularly vested in iOS if all other things like compatibility were equal, I would choose Apple.   I’m very interested to see how long it takes AI to make it into these devices.I don’t know if this is still current but if it is, it sounds dismal. Of all companies I thought Apple would be on this like a duck on a June bug.

  Hi everyone,

  I’m hoping to get some advice from those of you who’ve been using HouzzPro longer than I have. I’ve been running into a lot of frustrations with the CRM, especially around email communication and organization, and I’d love to hear how others are navigating it.

  Some of the biggest challenges I’m facing:

  • There doesn’t seem to be a true Gmail/HouzzPro integration. The Chrome extension doesn’t sync directly into the CRM, so emails feel disconnected.

  • All outgoing emails come from notifications@houzz.com rather than my business domain, which feels unprofessional.

  • There’s no way to “reply all” or keep everyone looped in on a thread, which makes communication with clients and contractors clunky.

  • Messages are split across different tabs within each project, and there’s no central place to view everything at once. It’s easy to miss important details.

  For the cost of this platform, I expected a more streamlined solution, and right now it feels messy and inefficient.

  Has anyone figured out effective workarounds for these issues? Do you rely solely on the CRM, or are you supplementing with another tool (like Gmail or another email platform) to keep things organized?

  Any advice or insight would be hugely appreciated—I really want to make the most out of this investment, but right now I’m struggling to see how to use it efficiently.

  As mentioned on the ‘I had a lesson today’ thread, I’m committed to practicing more over the winter to implement some changes I’ll be going through during lessons. Intention is to go to the range at least once a week, twice of if I can. First lesson yesterday and I’m trying to remove an over the top swing, so it’s totally different.

  I play actual golf every weekend with a bunch of lads, always in some sort of comp and they’re always qualifiers unless the course gets really bad. It’s a social thing as well as playing golf. I’d like to carry on doing that, but naturally I’m a bit concerned that my handicap will take a big hit if my range swing takes longer to transfer to the on course swing! We have a lot of OOB and trees!

  What’s everyone else’s experience of this kind of scenario? Did you stop playing competitive golf whilst going through changes? Did you find that you went back to your old swing on the course and kept your range swing separate until you were ready to take it out on the course?
