So my home security system (indy) has woken me up a night with false alarms recently. Then my mind Starts racing with crazy worst case scenarios and I have trouble sleeping.
(nice weather + open window = occasional dog bark and growls at night).
Does anyone keep weapon or something to use as a weapon in the bedroom in case of emergency? does the weapon actually give you peace of mind and let you sleep easier?
I'm thinking of buying something for this purpose, the top of my list are baseball bat and field hockey stick. Also considering pepper spray. Cost and permits have my less interested in guns. also guns and bladed weapons warrant some level of training.
It seems to me that no weapon will help you sleep well.
To be honest, it seems to me that no weapon will help you sleep well. I would start with my mental and physical health, such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, a schedule or sleep pattern, and getting enough of it. You can also do breathing exercises and meditation before going to bed, it helps me a lot. But if you are already scared and you can’t live without a weapon, you can consult https://ucmjdefense.com/marine-corps-military-defense-lawyers-court-martial-attorneys.html on this issue. They will answer any questions regarding self-defense. For me, it would be quite enough to have a baseball bat.
