The first option is to check to see if the Microsoft Outlook application has permission to operate in the background. To accomplish this, navigate to Settings > Applications > Background apps, and then make sure that the Microsoft Outlook option is selected and turned on. If notifications are still not working, try restarting your device. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Microsoft Outlook application if that doesn't work.

It's also possible that the email server is experiencing technical difficulties. Contacting the email service provider will allow you to determine whether or not the email server is currently experiencing issues. Last but not least, there is a possibility that emails will not be downloaded from the server if Thunderbird is not configured to do so automatically.

Your email forwarding settings may have been altered if your account has been hacked.
Another possibility may be that you've put up a filter that accidentally stops all of your incoming emails.- October 31, 2022
