  What should I use as a Reptile Breeding Box?
  Lizards, snakes, amphibians, and turtles all need at least one Reptile Breeding Box in their enclosure. You can purchase a commercial hide, such as H-series reptile breeding box Reptile Resin Cave nomoypet, or you can make one yourself. Homemade Reptile Breeding Boxes can be made from a number of different things, including plastic or cardboard boxes, storage containers, hollow logs, stacked or overlapping rocks, flower pots laid on their sides, and anything else that is large enough for your reptile.
  
  Be sure to use something that is easy to clean and disinfect, as you will have to do that regularly. The hide you choose should have a single entrance, and you may need to put 1" to 2" of substrate in it, depending on the species you are keeping and its size.
  
  How big a Reptile Breeding Box does my reptile need?
  The size of the Reptile Breeding Box varies depending on the size of the reptile. Many owners make the mistake of thinking that a bigger Reptile Breeding Box is better.
