Posted in the topic How to Clear Incognito History on Your Browser in the forum Money
    July 20, 2023 8:13 AM EDT

Incognito mode, also known as private browsing, is a feature offered by most modern web browsers that allows users to surf the internet without leaving traces of their online activity on the device. While this mode enhances privacy by not storing browsing history, cookies, or temporary files, it's essential to understand that it doesn't make you completely invisible on the web. Your internet service provider and the websites you visit can still track your activities. However, clearing your incognito history can be crucial when using shared devices or to maintain a higher level of privacy. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to clear incognito history on popular web browsers:

    Google Chrome:

Click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the browser.

Select "History" from the drop-down menu.

In the history tab, click on "Clear browsing data."

Choose the time range for which you want to delete data (e.g., "Last hour," "Last 24 hours," "All time").

Select the browsing data you want to clear, such as browsing history, cookies, cached images, and files.

Click on "Clear data" to confirm.
