Introduction:
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology introduced the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) for electronic and IT products in India. All individuals and businesses involved in storing, selling, manufacturing, importing, or distributing electronic products listed under the scheme must apply for BIS CRS Registration. If an individual or business is a manufacturer of electronic products, they must first get their product tested by BIS-recognized laboratories before applying for BIS CRS Registration.
