KLH Hyderabad & Google Developer Groups join forces to empower students & faculty with AI skills

    KLH Hyderabad in collaboration with Google Developer Groups, (GDG), recently organized a high-impact workshop named “Build with AI using Google Cloud”. It was aimed at empowering students and faculty with hands-on experience with technologies driven by AI. The event organized by the Cyber Security Research Team (CSRT) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the KLH Aziz Nagar campus, attracted over 1,400 participants.

    The list of notable speakers included names like Mr. Aarshad Devani, Senior Software Engineer at Storable India Pvt. Ltd. and GDG Hyderabad Lead; Mr. Shreyas Patil, Google Developers Expert for Android; and Mr. Neil Ghosh, Principal Software Engineer at Deliveroo and Google Developer Expert in Cloud. These thought leaders took the stage to shed some light on the topics of new technologies, the process of creating open-source software, and what a good cloud-solution architecture looks like.

    From the workshop, attendees got hands-on experience in Android, Firebase, Flutter, and other Google Cloud services that are used in the market. The sessions were designed to simulate real-world problem-solving scenarios, offering students an opportunity to apply their learning to industry-relevant challenges. With guidance from distinguished GDG experts, participants engaged in interactive, project-based learning to strengthen their technical skills.

    Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice-President of KLEF Deemed to be University, expressed pride in the collaboration, saying, "AI is more than a topic of discussion; it’s an approach we take.     The event was arranged under the leadership and supervision of Dr. A. Ramakrishna, Principal of KLH Aziznagar, and Dr. N. Rama Rao, Convenor of CSRT, with support from the CSRT team. This event also marked the beginning of a long-term partnership between KLH and GDG, with plans for more such technical sessions, mentorship programs as well as the integration of Google tools into student-led academic projects.

    This collaboration highlights KLH’s commitment to fostering innovation and embedding emerging technologies into their academic ecosystem. Thus,solidifying the institution’s position as the best university in India for technical excellence.
