    How can I restart the QuickBooks Database Service on the server to fix the error code 6130?

    Sometimes, your QuickBooks Database Server Manager stops working and results in QuickBooks error code 6130. So, to resolve it, you can restart the server manager in the following way.

    • Press the Windows and R key on the server system and get the Run window on the screen.

    • Then, type the word services.msc and hit Enter.

    • After that, from the displayed list, look for QuickBooksDBXX service. Here, XX is the version of your QB Desktop.

    • Then, click on the service and choose the Start button from the side panel.

    • Lastly, try to open your company file and check if it is free from QuickBooks error 6130.
