One of the members of my SP team recently wrote an article on this topic, so I will highlight the main takeaways for you. Here are some practices that you can implement as a leader to create a high -performance team. assume well. Well, that's a fact.

But it is important to do it right. With the number of technical talent markets available in the world today, finding developers to hire can be more accessible. However, hiring the right person for the job is critical to your success. Also, if you hire ios developers with raw talent, it doesn't guarantee you'll automatically have a rock star team. Therefore, the following steps are equally or more important to your team's success.

Establish a good onboarding process. It's important that your new developers settle down and get comfortable right away. This process is a short-term commitment with long-term benefits (including increased productivity and reduced stress). Some key aspects to be addressed in the insertion process:

I've written a software team onboarding guide, so feel free to read it for a more detailed breakdown of this step. You can read the full article here. Be a thoughtful leader. Like most teams, software teams need good leadership to grow together and thrive.

As a leader, it's your job to create an environment where your developers can learn, feel supported, and understand a clear vision for the team. For example, you can provide a training / conference budget. Address conflict appropriately.

As the team leader, you are the designated contact for all of your team's problems and concerns. Being able to approach them with a resolutive mindset is the way to go. Note: Code reviews can be a pain point for some developers who view criticism as a personal attack. Make sure you master constructive jargon to promote productive feedback.

Don't underestimate team building. This is a useful step for the gelphification of your team. From my experience, a team that meets well works well. Encourage office activities or plan to attend group conferences.

If you're a completely remote team like mine, you can create a book club through a Slack channel or schedule coffee breaks that don't involve business discussions.
