Hello,
I have used a few VPN services for a decade now (mainly Mullvad) and I am now starting to come back to torrents (since the streaming service market has become more fragmented and hence more expensive if your favorite shows etc. are spread out across multiple services). I previously read that some private trackers won't allow VPN connections and I am wondering how widespread this rule is. Is there any list of private trackers which won't allow users to use a VPN?
Thanks!
If you get a VPN with split tunneling, you can choose to not use the VPN with specific browsers.
It's a very nice feature that I can't live without
Or maybe it's better not to use VPN and set up a proxy server instead? It is much simpler and more reliable, and as a rule, no web resource blocks the proxy. Have you ever thought about it? I used to use VPN too, but now it is not very convenient and does not always perform its functions. Therefore, I bought a proxy on Soax and am no longer worried that they may restrict my access to any website. Think about it; maybe it will be more convenient for you to start using the proxy server.
Have you tried using a proxy server instead of a VPN? I have a private proxy server connected to my computer, and at the moment all the torrent trackers I use work fine.
I recommend that you look at the rating of proxy services, some of them sell not only proxies, but also VPN, although I personally prefer to use proxies for torrents
