  QuickBooks event id 4 error happens due to installation issues in the QuickBooks.

  Causes:

  Company files are corrupted.

  Deleted QuickBooks associated file. 

  You need to do a clean install of QuickBooks, to do so, uninstall QuickBooks and get it installed again.
