I'll take a real product and apply the design principles in this article to it. My choice fell on an educational site (because I love education) that offers online courses. I will not change the structure of the site, because this is outside the scope of our topic.
Using this site as an example, I will demonstrate how to apply three basic design principles: grids, typography, and color theory.
