DUOLIN respules are used to treat narrowing of the airways (bronchospasm) that occurs in COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) in adult patients who are taking more than one bronchodilator medicine. Pulmicort contains cortisone, which helps reduce inflammation in the airways, and Duolin is a short-acting bronchodilator that opens the airways. The method of administration (through a nebulizer) helps loosen mucus so that the child / adult can cough, shortness of breath, cough, etc. caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
