Boasting a very on-trend aesthetic, the Vans SK8-HI Womens Re-issue “Deconstructed” is easily one of the skate brand’s most revered in-line creations in recent memory. Bearing a similar aesthetic to many popular footwear creations in today’s market, this iconic Vans SK8-HI For Sale staple boasts exposed stitching, a broken-a part midsole unit, and an overlaying piece of fabric cheekily peaking over that aforementioned unit toward its heel. Now, the adored motif is set to work in conjunction with one of the most iconic parts of Vans’ iconic lore – checkerboard. Both the left and right sneaker boast black and white checkerboard on their medial sides, with a small round hit of that same pattern appearing on each midsole.

As it turns out, there are even more pairs from the Taka Hayashi x Vans Vault Spring 2014 collection than initially assumed. The Vans SK8-HI Mens from Mr. Hayashi for the Spring have suddenly doubled in numbers at the reveal of these monkey-print pairs. The two shown here sort of break away from the native-looking patterns of the rest of the set with a more cartoony approach to the graphics.

For the upcoming winter season, Vans has hooked up an outdoor version of the low-top Vans SK8-HI Cheap. Here we’re seeing three colorways including pine green, mahogany red, and black, all of which are fitted with a rubber coated canvas upper. Meanwhile a combination of nubuck and canvas is applied to each pair’s inner lining. Anchoring each look is a white rubber sole.
