The Air Jordan History of Flight Collection

Looking back once again for inspiration to Michael Jordan’s brief stint playing baseball while temporarily retired in 1994, Jordan Brand is releasing a very special edition of the Air Jordan 9 Retro this summer. Built in a premium leather construction, the shoe is designed to look like a baseball mitt with added leather threading across the upper.Making for one of Jordan Brand’s most unique releases yet,with the shoe box covered in a plastic wrap inspired by baseball cards. air jordan has confirmed that the brown leather colorway will be much more limited than the black pair, which of course makes it the more desired find for collectors. Baseball caps and jerseys will also be available at retail to round out the special edition Air Jordan 9.

The air jordan 1 Baseball Glove Brown is set to be one of two pairs that pay homage to Michael Jordan’s time with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League. Looking to mimic the look of a Brown baseball glove, the shoe comes constructed out of a premium leather upper equipped with baseball glove-inspired woven detailing on the side panels and heel. Even more Brown leather can be seen on the laces to really give the shoe that baseball glove look and feel. Contrast is created by way of the White “35” embroidered on the heels, which happens to be Jordan’s number while playing for the Scorpions. Even more White is noted on the sole, while pinstripe insoles completes the baseball theme.

This version of the jordan westbrook comes in a White, Midnight Navy and University Blue. color scheme.  This Air Jordan 11 features a White mesh upper with University Blue Jumpman branding and Midnight Navy appearing on the lining, heel, and patent leather mudguard. The upper is constructed out of White ballistic mesh and leather contrasted by the Midnight Navy on the patent leather and lining. Additional details on the shoe include the White midsole, icy translucent outsole, carbon fiber on the outsole and of course the Jumpman branding on the heel that comes in University Blue.

The Air Jordan History of Flight Collection made its official debut in 2009 as it celebrated the line’s 25th anniversary and instantly becoming one of the rarest pairs ever. For this summer 2017, the Air Jordan 13 History of jordan ultra fly will be releasing that features a white and red colorway that pays tribute to MJ’s days in Chicago. The clean hue covers the entire quilted and smooth leather upper while black laces and red accents on the inner lining, and outsole round out the color scheme. These images show black speckles on the sneaker, but it is due to a fracture on the camera lens so the shoe itself features an all-white upper.
