    • The very first step is to move to the edit menu and then choose the preferences option.
    • And then, from the left pane, the user should select items and inventory, and then click on the company preferences tab.
    • The next step in the process is to mark or select the inventory and purchase orders are an active box.
    • Once done with that the user should click on the advanced inventory settings tab. After that the user will have to sync license data online, so that the QuickBooks verify it, in case the button is grayed out even after purchasing the feature.
    • Now, from the QuickBooks desktop, the user should click on the help tab and then click on manage my license and then click on the sync license data online.
