Why does Hotmail not receiving emails?

    There may be many causes of Hotmail not receiving emails:

    • Users who are still operating the outdated Hotmail app won't even get emails. It's because Microsoft switched from using Hotmail to using Outlook.
    • Your email forwarding settings may have been altered if your account has been hacked.
    • Another possibility may be that you've put up a filter that accidentally stops all of your incoming emails.
