I made a couple of driftwood hides, and I used steel screws to hold the wood together. They really look good, but I'm concerned about the steel screws I used in the construction.
Will they corrode and poison my fish? I don't want to redo them but am worried that they will corrode and cause problems.
I also have an aquarium, but it also has a heater and thermometer. I chose the thermometer because it can be transferred from one aquarium to another. And this thermometer is attached via the metal stainless screws I bought from the Scrooz Online Fastener Store. But if you're still worried, you can use plastic suction cups instead of screws. But they also have a problem: over time, the suction cups dry out and stubbornly refuse to stay in place. So stainless screws are best, of course.
