This colossal state is blessed with stunning landscapes and an incredible history, and travellers can discover natural attractions within easy day-tripping distance of Las Vegas. The city of Las Vegas has been welcoming nearly 42 million visiting each year, and popular with its nicknames of ‘Sin City’ to ‘The Entertainment Capital of the World’.     The Strip: Las Vegas

    The Strip, the central section of Las Vegas Boulevard, runs through the city from northeast to southwest and it’s here where is all the action is. The boulevard is lined up with huge entertainment palaces, many built with a defining theme, and abode to performance venues, opulent hotel rooms, and fine dining, this is what most people think of when they picture Las Vegas. The best activity in Las Vegas is walking along the Strip and soaking up the sights. The sight is particularly majestic at night, when the city is illuminated by an endless succession of glittering neon signs. The iconic Las Vegas Strip runs from the Mandalay Bay Hotel to Treasure Island Hotel and if you wish to truly experience Las Vegas, stay in any of the major resorts on the Strip.

    Fremont Street Experience

    Located in the old downtown Las Vegas, Fremont Street is a unique pedestrian-only area with all kinds of amazing sites. A big five-block section of Fremont Street is shrouded over with a canopy of LED lights that illuminate the sky in a spectacle of different colors and designs as you walk below. Prominently known as the Fremont Street Experience, each night has a fantastic music and visual show that takes place overhead. Plenty of street performers and special entertainment acts are dreamt up outdoors in this area. Fremont Street is sitting close to downtown Las Vegas, just a few kilometers from the Strip.

    Venetian Hotel and Gondola Rides

    The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas is situated on the Strip, close to the Treasure Island. Known to be the one of the Las Vegas's finest resorts and is blended with many interesting tourist attractions. As you step inside, there is a themed shopping arcade built to resemble the city of Venice, complete with blue skies, canals, and gondoliers.  The hotel-cum-resort also resembles the recreations of the main attractions found in Venice, such as the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs, along with many others. Relishing the Venetian Gondola Rides, are a fun way to see the complex. Positioned out in front of the Venetian Hotel, near the sidewalk, the cute gondola boats await passengers who are then taken on a ride by their personable gondolier who sings as they take you through the shopping arcade inside the hotel.

    Bellagio Resort and Fountain Show

    The Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas is a colossal, top-end hotel complex, with a wide variety of sights, made up of the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, a spa and salon, and some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas. Just move beyond the lobby are, you'll find the showroom area with changing themes that range from spring botanical displays to fascinating shows of art. The most impressive and popular sight is the fountain show. In front of the Bellagio Resort, along the Strip, the dancing fountains enact a beautiful display of water set to music. Often termed as the best free attraction in Las Vegas, visitors adore the ringside view from the sidewalk.

    Las Vegas Motor Speedway

    Love the high-speed racings cars racing down the track? Fans of fast cars know only one direction to head over to Las Vegas Motor Speedway! Situated in Clark County just 15 miles away northeast of the Strip, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a 1,200-acre complex of multiple automobile racing tracks just correct for the speed-freak in you. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to drive a luxurious Lamborghini or Ferrari? All these cars are available for the visitors to be driven at high speeds around the race track and you just need some spare cash. The famous Las Vegas Motor Speedway is also home to NASCAR races, as well as a host of other racing events. Race drivers from all over the United States of America have set plenty of speed records have been set on the track. The Speedway also has multiple restaurants, and if you wish to stay overnight, RV camping is available.

    Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

    Positioned on the western edge of Las Vegas, the Red Rock Canyon provides the quickest nature escape from the city and some of the scenic hiking trails in the Las Vegas area. You can observe the red rock hills rising up against the mountains as you approach the park. Visitors at the National Conservation Area have access to some of the finest incredible hiking trails off this road, which ranges from short family-friendly hikes to longer day hikes. The hike to peaks, into box canyons, and through the red rock landscape lets the travellers experience some spectacular desert scenery and beautiful vistas.
