How to Deactivate Facebook Messenger?

    Here we will explain how can you deactivate your Facebook Messenger. The method is pretty simple. However, if your Messenger account is connected to your Facebook account, first you will have to deactivate your Facebook account.

    1. Open the messenger and tap on your profile at the top left corner.

    2. Click Account Settings.

    3. Then, choose Account Ownership and Control.

    4. Click Deactivation and deletion.

    5. Now, choose Deactivate account, tap Continue to account deactivation, and follow the instructions on your screen.
