    Atal Pension Yojana is a pension scheme of the Central Government, under which a person between the age of 18 to 40 years can get pension after retirement by investing some money in this scheme every month. This scheme is operated by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).

    The objective of Atal Pension Yojana is to provide pension to the workers and artisans of the unorganized sectors after their retirement. It will provide economic and social help in their old age. This scheme was started on 1st June 2015 by the Prime Minister of our country, Shri Narendra Modi.
