OSRS is indeed much better. Runescape gold graphics is the only thing which it has going for it. The speed you get exp is simply broken and the fact you can purchase lamps for exp and just find completely free exp just for logging on.
I started OSRS the first day it came out and it's been over 6 years since then. It was not about nostalgia. There is times OSRS will possess 115k players on the internet and Runescape3 is at like 35k which speaks volumes... Lots of people may cry"BOTS!" But it's only a far better game if you're a veteran of runescape. Perhaps Runescape3 would appeal to somebody who is unfamiliar with runescape.
I really do play with OSRS. But a lot of the game is toxic players items which used to be rare not items you don't even recognise. As it was in the time in 2007, it's not the same. It's a great game for sure. However, it isn't the same.
I'm likely 60/40 of Runescape3 vs OSRS, I do favour buy runescape accounts 2007 because it is how I remember it at least as close. I perform both every so often but not as much as I had been back in the afternoon. OSRS for certain needs an update to accommodate for resolutions. A number of this game is somewhat easy, a few of OSRS is a pain.
