The firm received some negative press during E3 on its refusal to allow PS4 Fortnite proprietors to play alongside gamers on other platforms. The firm does allow cross-platform use some games with PC, but currently isn't going to enable its PS4 users list to contend with Xbox or Nintendo fans. This has become a concern with certain consumers as both Nintendo and Xbox do allow such functionality. Speaking in the IFA Technology Show in Germany, Yoshida said (as reported by The Independent): "On cross-platform, our thought process is always that PlayStation could be the best spot to play. Fortnite, I believe, partnered with PlayStation 4 would be the best experience for users, that's our belief.
