The mobile version of Fortnite is a amazing success already, and also the Switch version will open up the action to nearly 20 million new players.
When we spoke to Epic's Tim Sweeney at GDC this coming year he spoke to build Fortnite into, "one unified game that operates on all platforms, that may be the same experience everywhere, and is often a social experience that you can use friends across all with the different platforms.
"What we now have is this one engine that's supporting AAA production values and game sizes and content bases that runs everywhere. This is going to become a great setup with the games industry, because doing so means that you now don't have a divide between casual mobile games and high-end PC and console games."
The Android version of Fortnite is caused by launch september.
