  • Speaking tonight during The Game Awards, Epic Games worldwide creative director Donald Mustard called within the industry introducing cross-play between competing consoles. Specifically, Mustard said gamers "deserve" cross-play. His comments came after Game Awards host Geoff Keighley pressed him about the matter, resulting in Mustard squirming on stage. Keighley brought this because Fornite unlocked cross-play between PS4 and Xbox One for any brief length of time earlier this year. However, Epic quickly shut rid of it, saying it turned out only introduced accidentally. Microsoft has become open to cross-play support nowadays.
