  • Romanian World of Warcraft player Calin Mateias was mad for a specific player in-game. Instead of walking away from his computer and calming down before he did or said something drastic, or ignoring no matter the player did for making him angry, he decided something considerably more severe was a student in order. Nothing could quell his wish for revenge. So rather than being an adult and moving forward to, what did he do? He chosen to launch a few DDoS attacks against WoW's servers, which appeared knocking a huge number of players offline. He also cost Blizzard an impressive $30,000 as a consequence of his little mishap, that they had to reimburse. But his little transgression wasn't resolved by paying back the monetary losses Blizzard experienced when attempting to get the sport back web running correctly this year. No, it is going to only be completely over after Mateias serves a full year in prison for his nearly ten-year-old crime. He's finally been sentenced, and it is a doozy of your punishment. According to the sentencing memo, Mateias ended up being driven using a "juvenile wish to win the action," and even though you can't "win" WoW, the sentiment still is a good idea. It was a juvenile and rash decision, and from now on it appears Mateias must pay the price for doing this. This sentence demonstrates you -- if you are mad at someone within a game, you would better not go all DDoS on the massive network of servers like Blizzard's, especially not really a ridiculously popular MMO like World of Warcraft. Maybe just complain regarding it on Twitter something like that. That's probably your safest best. Or just ignore https://www.mmoah.com/warmane
