The sport is not broken. It has a few issues, but overall it is OSRS gold a great game. I guess we can stop bots more. Maybe impose trade limits, where you can not give substantial excess amounts of value to account you have not had additional for 6months or so. That would do the job.
They attempted something like that in'09, turns out it merely makes doing things far harder than it must be, the market can't change to reflect reality fast enough, and individuals use crap that happens to have high value to bypass it.
I'll return the second skilling is actually workable as a money maker AND not concealed behind quests that have high combat demands. Skillers as primary money makers have been dead for years.
Makes me pretty mad actually, I've been an osrs stan since 2015 but recently tried rs3. It's a lot going for this, the MTX is in every aspect of the game unfortunately but it's got a great deal of fun and charm for this. Seems like it is back to grindscape... If content and devs are concentrated on the easiest and fastest way to make money on runescape player retention and gaining new gamers as a result of absolute quality, that's a bloody good thing. I believe Jagex understood that OSRS would be the principal driver of profits without the cashcow mechanics, but are experimenting with all the RS3 playerbase.
