Every year they come back and buy it nba 2k21 mt again. Why should not EA create as much as they need off these folks? Why should they bother to produce a really large excellent match when consumers have so fervently voted"yes" for your fair money grab?
Practically none of their other games have as much anti consumer shit as these yearly sports games. Not even 2K's WWE games are chock full of the shit. It has to be NBA and NFL pushing this.
There's no reason to assume that when the 2K games are full of micro-transactions that would only benefit 2K None of 2K's other games are filled with stuff like this. No additional 2K game has full on ads, and also the only other 2K game that could be compared monetization shrewd is GTA Online and even then there are tons of approaches to make money unlike the 2K sports matches and VC.
You do not believe NBA gets a reduction of profits when an electronic LeBron is marketed?
I had been thinking about this today too. I hear that they make tons of cash on VC, but maybe they have to? Like there I no way licensing is cheap, getting player faces is cheap, researching their motions for ratings, tendencies, and cartoons is cheap, it's a ton of work that's never going to end up in a product which doesn't feel copied ever year and be profitable for them.
The NBPA has tons of negotiating capability to cheap nba 2k21 mt coins charge whatever they want for this, so I bet there is some level of necessity on their end. Not saying they are saints, just look at Take2's other strikes which are probably much cheaper to produce.
This is why that entire just patch it with fresh rosters debate is ridiculous, since EA and 2k actually wouldn't be in a position to sustain that model, then we wouldnt get any sports matches.
