Along with the argent tourney had the strangest dailies ever and then a"raid" that you sat in 1 shitty appearing dirt floored room for 90 percent of it.I think having Naxx was nice. But it being the very first thing that you encounter was just rather meh timing.Ulduar was the best raid Blizzard ever made and it was so quickly made irrelevant by the worst raid Blizzard ever made. It is mind boggling.It felt bizarre to cancel my sub right after
having the most fun in the sport I've ever had. Blizzard said they left the Argent tourney raid since Ulduar took too many man hours and dollars (it truly was epic, so lots of
managers, so many rooms, almost every fight designed well)... like, a raid worthy of a multi billion dollar company.
The simple fact that this gigantic company turned around and said, hey, that was too expensive of a raid to us to create, here is something we created from start to finish in 2 weeks, that was very disrespectful to the participant base and it isn't any wonder sub numbers went downhill shortly after.Apparently when you're earning 150 million USD per month out of subs a few developers is"overly expensive"activision started ruining WoW the very moment they bought them.I remember the justification for it not being price but because ICC was still not finished and instead of 4 or 5 more months of ulduar they put together an in-between raid to give players something to do while they ended ICC.
