I think nowadays that discord, the OSRS gold youtube community, along with also the reddit community are so notable new players would have a way more easy time figuring out exactly what they are supposed to do. Dungeoneering being a skill with a lot of long term advantages to playing with it direct to and will result in a far greater community than BA which is a cesspit of people who just care about acquiring one thing accomplished and then never playing it. I get that this is subjective but BA was not a lot more enjoyable than Dungeoneering, it had been real PVM and mystery solving content. Some of the roles in BA are only dull beyond almost anything else in RuneScape.

Bear in mind that the younger players are major part of osrs' future. On top of this I'd imagine that the aim for jagex would be to increase their playerbase, rather than maintaining the nostalgia era players. Notably when something like toggleable HD graphics could bring a lot of new players (ik it's harder for future content ) without creating current playerbase to evaporate.

Throughout Corona I have seen alot of new people playing who have chosen up RuneScape game on mobile, so I would imagine that the playerbase keeps becoming less of"real 2007 players" as the time continues.. Like someone pointed out new players join for RuneScape gameplay and unique accomplishments gameplay, but I doubt that anyone picked RuneScape game since they discovered images appealing.

Younger gamers are a significant part of the future of Jagex, but not alwaysBuy Rs gold. What's now RS3 was ideally supposed to be a game that make new/younger players since they added images, and may retain players as they got older through quality upgrades.
