OSRS gold wilderness because they never come prepared

People today moan about getting PK'erectile dysfunction in the OSRS gold wilderness because they never come prepared, and why do you? That is countless gold, and hundreds of hours worth of gear you are hauling out into the wild, and risking permanently dropping in a struggle that could be over in 30 seconds.

No one in their right mind would like to do that. Double reclaim cost in wildy, half it gets dropped into the PKer if you are killed, none of your items are dropped (excluding possibly items earned from the wildy, such as Rev drops, but that is up to Jagex). That alone would resolve a good deal of what is wrong in the wildy, I would be more prepared to bring gear to defend myself with when I knew I wasn't going to lose it all if I died, and rather just pay 2x the recover cost.

That's only the start. OSRS constantly attempts to keep a balance in their PvP, items get tweaked, drop values/reclaim prices get adjusted all the time. This needs to occur for RS3's PvP. Adjusting ability damage numbers in PvP in contrast to what they're in PvM are large, and placing more variety to the PvP and damage reduction stat may even revive some older content. If something like Zuriels was more effective in PvP than even Elite Tectonic, then it'd permanently have a role in runescape, adding diversity.

And the danger is there. PvP in OSRS is about reward and risk. If you see somebody wielding some pretty expensive things, you want to kill them (and preferably smite them, but decent luck) as the payout is huge. Together with the Buy Rs gold death mechanic, it's still exactly the same. Someone Obtaining a ZGS + complete gear to the wildy is drop a great deal of money on passing, and they're probably worth trying to kill, even if they outclass you in equipment.
