Are you like the many parents who think their children isn't active enough and spends most of the time in their room watching Netflix or playing on their mobile phone? Then a GymPlay Airtrack may be the right solution for you. Today we are gonna take a look at what an Airtrack is and why it's such a great tool for training and for fun.

Airtracks - the new training equipment for children

Airtracks are basically big gym mats filled with air. Think an inflatable madras, just bigger and more solid. They can be used to train various gymnastic jumps, but also for tumbling and fun outdoor or indoor if you have the space. First of all an Airtrack prevents you from hurting yourself if you fail a jump and land on your butt or back. Second - because of the air inside it, it will function a little bit like a trampoline and give you a boost when you do jumps on it. This means that you will jump a bit heighter than normally and it will be easier to either combine more jumps or twists, or to train new jumps you arn't that good at yet. Third - it enables you to do stuff you wouldn't be able to do on a standard gym mat. Forth - you can combine it with other types of gymnastic tools, or other Airtracks for even more fun.

Get your children to be more active with an Airtrack

Now that we have established what an Airtrack is, it's time to see how we can use this training tool to make our children get out of their rooms and become more active. You basically got to choices here. One is to buy a small Airtrack which they can use indoor, should you have the space for it. The benefit with this solution is that they can use it any day thy want. The other choice would be to buy a bigger Airtrack, which they can use outdoor in the garden or on the lawn. A bigger Air track is usually more fun to use, but it's also much heavier and more expensive to buy. And you most likely won't be able to use it on rainy days, so if you like somewhere with a lot of rain (like england) then you might want to consider getting a smaller one to use indoor. Children normally loves to play on Airtracks and it helps them burn calories, strengthen their muscles, improves muscle coordinance and flexability - so it's a great way to keep the kids healthy. And who doesn't want that. But unlike many other types of sports, using their Airtrack feels more like playing instead of training, which is why the children are likely to use it a lot and many on a daily basis. My own kids use it about 5 times a week and here after 5 months they still love it, and often have their friends over to use it too.

Sometimes they even combine their Airtrack training with their Berg trampoline to get even more fun out of it. Something a lot more children should try as it can be super fun.

This was a little bit about Airtracks and why you might want to consider getting one for your child or children. Especially if you kid is one who enjoy gymnastics or sport in general, tumbling or just doing cart wheels. And unlike a trampoline an Airtrack isn't something they get tired of after a month or two. Thanks for taking the time to read this article, next time I will write about some other kind of fitness equipment, and this time something aimed more at the grown ups.
