  The best way to save the file is to save it in PST. This file format keeps the data in a systematic order, hence considered a priority. But that does not mean that this file is not prone to corruption, it is equally prone to corruption. Reasons behind corruption could be its oversize, abrupt closing, or being infected by a virus. 

   

  How to Repair PST File:

   

   

  ScanPST.exe, the manual method, is not recommended because of its limitation of only processing the 2 GB file for repairing. There are a few more limitations of the scanPST.exe technique. So here below, we are discussing the easiest way possible.

   

  • Download, install and open the Shoviv Outlook PST Repair tool.
  • Tap on Add PST Files and add PST using the Add button.
  • Hit Outlook PST from the ribbon bar, 
  • a list of sub-folders will appear, deal with them accordingly, and hit Next.
  • Choose to export in existing PST or export in new PST.
  • Use item filters and advance options and again press Next.
  • The process will start; hit Finish when it completes.
