Netflix’s Hyperdrive and its drivers have stolen our hearts but which cars from the series would we love to see return?

Have you ever wondered what Ninja Warrior or Total Wipeout would like if you infused the show with a little petrol-headed flare?

Well, Netflix’s Hyperdrive may just be the answer to all your questions as it stunningly blends a series of tricky and outrageous challenges with automotive passion.

The end result is a petrol-fuelled thrill ride unlike any other and we simply can’t get enough of it or the car’s on show throughout the eight-episode season. Check here more about this article.

    SEASON 2 RENEWAL STATUS

At the time of writing, Hyperdrive has been out for a week and as things stand there is no news on whether the series will be renewed for a second season.

Given the premise of the show, Charlize Theron’s involvement and the expense that has gone into creating the 100-acre race track in Rochester, NY, Hyperdrive would need to generate some huge interest to keep its spot on Netflix for a second season.

We’re hopeful that as the viewing figures for the show come to light, Netflix will be persuaded into giving a second season the green light.

THE CARS OF HYPERDRIVE WE WANT TO SEE RETURN

Despite not knowing the fate of Hyperdrive and its chances of getting a second season, there are several cars thata made an appearance in the Netflix show that we’d love to see take to the track once again.

    Aaron Parker’s 1993 Mazda RX-7

While Aaron Parker may not have had the best of luck during his time on Hyperdrive, his Mazda RX-7 certainly caught our eye.

Its distinctive look and roaring rotary engine offered up a brilliant blend of the eye and ear candy that we simply can’t get enough of.

    Alex and Corinna Graff’s 1986 BMW E28 5 series and Mercedes-Benz E500

Ok so this technically counts as two but who are we to separate this badass husband and wife duo?

The Graff family arrived in Hyperdrive with a distinctive look that set both of their cars apart from the rest of the field with a gorgeous yellow, red and blue livery that wouldn’t look out of place on F1 legend Fernando Alonso’s helmet.

After creating such a stunning look for their cars, we’d love to see what they could come up with if invited back for another season.
