Hello everyone! The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is almost here. It is said that we will see a fall premiere in October 2021 for part of the season and winter 2022 for the rest.

Today I will talk about the first Demon Slayer movie, Mugen Train. I also saw the trailer for the second season, and I will also give you my thoughts on it. I'm kind of glad I waited to talk about Mugen Train. I think this is the best time to refresh your memory about one of my favorite anime of 2019. But first, let me remind you what the heck is going on in the show! spoilers! Read more here about this article or similar topics.

    About the show

Tanjiro is a country boy who lives with his mother, his brothers and sisters. One day, Tanjiro's family is attacked by a demon while Tanjiro was in the village. They all die except for Tanjiro's sister, Nezuko. She survives, but is turned into a demon.

Tanjiro decides to become a demon hunter. He also hopes to find a way to re-humanize his sister. The good thing is that Nezuko doesn't hurt humans but she helps her brother to save them.

On his journey to the demon slayer realm, Tanjiro meets his future companions. Zenitsu is a crybaby/flirt who falls in love with Nezuko. At first, Zenitsu annoyed me a lot. But, when I saw the true ferocity of him, he kind of won me over.

Alongside Tanjiro and Nezuko, Inosuke, who wears a boar's head, is my favorite character. He is temperamental, fearless and hilarious. But, even with all that bravery, Inosuke is a good person and a great demon slayer.

The foursome go from one adventure to the next, slaying demons and bonding as friends.

I bet you're asking "Ang! What about the villains?" I'll come back to them a little later. Now, let's talk about Mugen Train. I'm going to tell you a little bit about the movie, then I'll give you my thoughts. it.

    About the movie

The movie finds us on a train with Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. They are joined by Kyojuro. He is a powerful Flame Hashira. They're on a mission to... well... kill demons.

While on the train, they meet Enmu, one of the lower ranking head demons. Enmu puts them to sleep and tried to take the spirit core from him. It then turns into a battle for the souls of everyone on the train.

I know I didn't give too much information, but I didn't want to spoil it. Now, I will give you my thoughts.

    Reasonable growth

Have you ever seen That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime? I love that show but Rimaru is broken. Wait a second, he's slime. The next second he's still a slime, but an extremely powerful Demon Lord. For me, there is no real vulnerability. People die, Rimaru brings them back to life.

This is not the case with Tanjiro. The film shows someone who is strong but has room to grow. It's what I want to see in my hero, especially when I'm going to watch him for a while. Seeing a character grow makes for an exciting journey.
