    Pressure transducer sensor is a commonly used flow measurement instrument, in a variety of industries are widely used, and in the paper industry pressure transmitter is also one of the indispensable parts, almost in the paper industry in all different stages will be used to different types of pressure transmitters. And the pressure transmitter in the paper industry is the most frequent application stage, then the pressure transmitter in each different stage in the end has what role? And how does it work?

    The role of different stages of the paper industry pressure transducer sensor

    1pressure transducer sensor is applied in the preparation section. Pressure transducer in the pulping process is mainly involved in the flow measurement of polished pulp, water and acid or alkali. Generally through the mechanical sanding pulp temperature to reach 80 . However, when pulping from materials such as wood or grass, a cooking process is usually required. As the cooking liquid is generally alkaline, so most of the pressure transmitter lining using high temperature resistant PTFE, the structure of the split type, in the electrode material must have corrosion resistance, so in the choice of electrode materials need to be carefully selected.

    The pressure transducer sensor is used in the screening and bleaching section. There are about five kinds of pulp (chemical pulp, deinking pulp, CTMP, machine pulp, loss of liquid pulp) involved in the pulping process from the preparation workshop to the paper copying workshop. Here, the temperature of machine pulp and CTMP pulp is as high as 50 to 80, and the pressure transmitter lining material should be preferred to PFA or PTEE.

    3, pulp and paper production process requires steam drying paper, and through the control of steam pressure to control the water content of paper, so the measurement and control of steam pressure in the paper production process is very important. The measurement accuracy of the transmitter depends on the correct installation of the transmitter and measurement piping, so the transmitter in the installation and use of attention:

     ( 1) When measuring differential pressure, install a three-valve manifold;

    ( 2) The pressure-taking port should be opened on the side of the pipeline and the transmitter should be installed under the pressure-taking port so that the condensate can be filled in the pressure-conducting pipeline to avoid direct contact between the vapor and the transmitter;

    ( 3) The pressure-conducting pipe should be as short as possible and avoid sharp bends;

    ( 4) due to the paper production process to use a lot of steam, resulting in high ambient temperature, steam condensate system to measure the pressure or level of the transmitter should be installed in the temperature gradient and temperature change is small, no shock and vibration of the place, in order to avoid the transmitter to produce zero drift. The steam separator is used in the paper production process to save energy by recovering steam. The separator collects the spent steam from the drying cylinder, further separates the steam from the water, and the condensate is sent back to the boiler room so that the steam can be reused. Separator level is too low, will make the air into the separator and drying cylinder, reduce the heat transfer efficiency of the drying cylinder; Separator level is too high, will reduce the drying cylinder drainage and flash efficiency.

    In order to get different quality of paper, the slurry proportioning process can be accomplished by using different slurry proportioning consistency. However, if the finished product fails due to the slightest overshoot of one kind of slurry, it will cause great loss to the manufacturer. Therefore, the manufacturer pays special attention to this link, and each pipe line participating in the proportioning is equipped with a pressure transducer sensor to measure the instantaneous and total flow rate into the main pipe of the slurry proportioning, and also installs an on-line concentration meter at the lower end of the slurry proportioning pipe to detect the effect of the slurry proportioning. If there is a deviation from the expected, the corresponding slurry flow rate is adjusted by adjusting the valve opening. This requires a high degree of accuracy in the pressure transmitter, as well as good repeatability and fast dynamic response.

In the choice of electrode or lining materials, there is a mismatch, the sensor may not operate properly, so it is very important to choose the right pressure transmitter in the paper industry. In addition, the factors affecting the accuracy of the sensor are not satisfied with the pipe, the length of the straight section is not long enough, small diameter installation of different centrifugal degrees and so on.  

    In addition to the above paper preparation section and screening and bleaching section as a representative, and from the analysis of the environment of each section and so on need to choose the right pressure transmitter, in order to reduce the error of the measurement process, to ensure the normal operation of the sensor, but also to make the paper made in line with the predetermined requirements.
