World of Warcraft Classic is getting more realms in an effort to combat the lengthy queues and long wait times which Blizzard fears could disrupt the launch. In the EU, five new servers are coming: Flamelash, Gandling, Mograine, Nethergarde Keep and Razorgore. All of these are English-language servers, and they are all PvP realms except for Nethergarde Keep.
The company posted a new update in their forums this past week, alerting players that many of their servers had reached capacity. And that those creating accounts on full servers may end up sitting in the queue system waiting to get in. To compensate for this, they’ve announced that they will be adding new servers to accommodate all of the new players jumping into the game. At this point, Blizzard might as well buy an entirely new server room as the influx just doesn’t seem to be slowing down. If you need Buy WOW Classic Gold, you can visit our site 5mmo.com.
That said, there’s not much Blizzard can do about that except offer free transfer windows down the line. That would give players a chance to move server if the player population does die off after release. Until then, their best course of action is to try to spread out the player base and give each realm the best play experience possible. It’s not the perfect solution, but it at least demonstrates that the team is doing what they can to mitigate the issues that could arise with this particular project.
Blizzard says it may eventually implement free character transfers for WoW Classic – after all, that “ultimately became a service in original WoW” – but on launch day, bear in mind that certain WoW Classic servers could have you waiting a very, very long time to get in.
