The South Korean under-17 men's national soccer team will depart for Indonesia on Saturday afternoon to compete in the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The U-17 team, led by head coach Byun Sung-hwan, will compete in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which kicks off on Tuesday in Indonesia.
Korea has been drawn in Group E alongside the United States, France and Burkina Faso and will open its campaign against the United States on Nov. 12.

South Korea's previous best result at the U-17 World Cup was a quarterfinal appearance in 1987, 2009 and 2019.
The team has been training at the National Football Team Training Center (NFC) in Paju, Gyeonggi-do since October 30.
